La Maïta – Guesthouse in Montgenèvre

La Maïta is a sole proprietorship registered under the name:

1. Purpose

These terms and conditions govern reservations made directly with La Maïta, a guesthouse located in Montgenèvre (Hautes-Alpes, France).
Any booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

2. Booking

A reservation becomes effective upon receipt of a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount of the stay.
The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date.

Bookings may be made by telephone, email, or via the online booking system on our website.

3. Rates

Rates are expressed in euros, all taxes included.
They include breakfast, bed linen, and the tourist tax.

Any change in the amount of the tourist tax will be reflected in the total price.

4. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept credit and debit cards, Google Pay, and PayPal for bookings made through our online platform.
Bank transfers and French checks are accepted for bookings made outside the online platform.

5. Cancellation Policy

a) Cancellation by the Guest

• More than 30 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit.

• Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit retained.

• Less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: deposit non-refundable, full stay due.

b) Cancellation by the Host

In the event of an exceptional circumstance requiring La Maïta to cancel the booking, the guest will receive a full refund of any payments made, with no further compensation.

6. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in: between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

• Check-out: before 10:30 a.m.

Due to the limited number of rooms, late check-outs cannot be guaranteed, except possibly during the low season.

7. Capacity and Use of the Premises

The booking is made for a specific number of guests.
If this number is exceeded, the host reserves the right to refuse additional guests or cancel the booking without refund.

Guests are expected to respect the property, the peaceful nature of the village, and the house rules.

Note: Shoes are not allowed inside the house. We provide clean and disinfected indoor sandals for your stay, but you are welcome to bring your own slippers for extra comfort.

8. Pets

Pets are not allowed, unless otherwise agreed with the host.
Please contact us in advance to discuss this possibility.

9. Liability

La Maïta cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or injury occurring on the property.
Children remain under the full responsibility of their parents.

10. Personal Data

The information collected during booking is confidential and used solely for managing your stay.
In accordance with the GDPR regulations, guests have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data.

11. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, every effort will be made to reach an amicable resolution before any legal action is taken.
Failing that, jurisdiction will rest with the Court of Gap (Hautes-Alpes, France).

12. Acceptance

Booking a stay at La Maïta implies full acceptance of these General Booking Terms and Conditions.
